Absolutely agree with scotth7a9. I think parents definitely need to be Internet-wise today. We teach our children about Internet safety, spend time with them while they are online. We also put our computer in a public area of our home, so I can see what they are doing and who they are talking to.

To my mind, one of the main reasons of childhood obesity in USA is that practically all children spend their leisure time surfing the internet or gaming.
Can MySpace help shy kids come out of their shells?

To my mind, MySpace or any other social networking helps children to communicate. A lot of young people I know that have a MySpace don't normally think twice about whats featured on their page.
